Online AMC 12B Contest Information
The AMC 12 is a 25-question, 75-minute multiple-choice exam in high school mathematics. Preparing for the AMC 12 helps develop students’ problem-solving skills and interest in mathematics. Please allow an additional 30 minutes in addition to the contest itself for the pre-competition rules and regulations page and the post-competition integrity form and final submissions page.
Date: Wednesday, February 10, 2021 (one day only)Time: A specific time can be requested by the student.Location: via AoPS OnlineFor: Students in grade 12 or below and also under 19.5 years of age on the day of the competition.Price: Free for Bard Math Circle students and local residents. We are charging $20 for other students who register for the AMC 12B with the Bard Math Circle.
If we are full, please consider alternate locations. For example, Fordham University.

Proctoring
Proctoring for the online AMC 12B Contest will be conducted by an in-person parent, guardian, or other supervising adult. Be sure that you have a proctor willing to be present for the whole contest before you register below.
Permitted Materials
During the competition, students are only allowed: writing utensils, blank scratch paper, rulers, compasses, erasers. Prohibited materials include: calculators, smartwatches, phones, computing devices, protractors, and graph paper.
Post Competition Discussion
The problems and solutions must not be discussed in any online or public forum until February 11. Please join the Bard Math Circle the weekend after the contest to debrief the problems.
Prep Sessions
Prepare for the AMC 12B with us on the Saturdays before the contest. Our Bard Math Majors are offering prep sessions on the Saturdays leading up to the contest, and then a recap after the contest is over.
